The town of Kibuye is one of the few places where you can sit and relax during your Rwanda safari. You’ll need to arrive at the main entrance to Kigali International Airport and then transfer to a lodge where you’ll stay overnight during transit, but what you’ll feel like when enjoying the beautiful scenery of Rwanda’s tea plantations, rolling hills and winding roads is Exceptional. Depending on your arrival time, you can choose a Kigali city tour. Other popular activities are held on the outskirts of Kibuye. Each room in the lodge has a shower and Wi-Fi.
If you’re in Kigali City or Virunga National Park, start your trip with a visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial Centre. For the people of Rwanda, this is a historic site where thousands of lives were lost as a result of war. Mountain gorillas roam freely in the ecosystem without being trapped. The chase is conducted in groups of eight gorillas per his family led by a silverback male. Babies are cared for by their parents until they are 2 years old.
Rwiza Village is a few kilometers outside of Kigali City, but a 25-minute helicopter road flight can be arranged on request. You should bring insect repellent, warm clothes, long-sleeved shirts and trousers, and light clothing depending on the season of your Rwanda Safari.
