Day 1: Arrival in Kigali
On arrival at the Kigali International Airport, you will be welcomed by a Verdant Safaris company representative who will brief you on the tour and depending on your time of arrival, you will have lunch and go for a Kigali city tour, visiting the local market areas, Kimironko, the Rwanda genocide memorial returning to refresh, dinner and stay overnight at

Day 2: Transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park
Morning breakfast after which we will transfer to visit the royal palace museum a place of art craft of the country’s history. It is amazing has you will learn so much. Day 3: Chimpanzee Tracking and Canopy Walk
You will wake up early morning and transfer to the park headquarters after breakfast. Chimpanzees are man’s closest relatives sharing up to 98% of the human DNA. They are known to be intelligent species with the ability to use tools, Chimps make loud charter sounds that you will recognize them even at a distance along the trek along the forest path trails will give the chance to view more park species toppled with the chimpanzee. When you find the chimpanzee you will be allowed only 1 hour while taking pictures and enjoy the animal’s role and play and do their daily lives. Return for lunch and an afternoon canopy walk along the forest returning to the lodge for dinner and staying overnight at

Day 4: Colobus Monkey Tracking and Afternoon Relaxation
Following morning tea or coffee we will return to the park center to track the black and white colobus monkeys. These are special species of Nyungwe living in large troops, and you can find a group of over 50 primates all tucked in black and white. The experience takes 2-3 hours while you spend time viewing the beautiful creatures. Return to the lodge for lunch and the rest of the afternoon at leisure.

Day 5: Departure
